As your newborn photographer who has photographed all ages of babies over the years, I love the little gap between 1-2 weeks. I mainly suggest within the first 2 weeks of your Tiny Human coming earth side. Their little features change so quickly, they only so small and squishy for a little while.
You most definitely can, I have parents who pre book their newborn session 3-4 months in advance. This ensures a spot in my schedule that month as well as planning ahead. I send out a questionnaire, prep guide and also order new props and/or outfits, headbands and hats.
Scheduling ahead of time is a great first start that will ensure a guaranteed spot that month in my schedule. I also send out a questionnaire inquiring about poses, coloring and siblings and/or any special requests I try to deliver. I will also send a prep guide on clothing, colors, baby's sleep/clothing and more.
My newborn sessions typically run about 1.5-2 hours in time. This includes time changing/tending to and feeding baby. I always move with the flow of your Tiny Human. I also send out that prep guide that helps ensure our session run more smoothly.
Yes, I have lots of baskets, blankets, swaddles, wraps, hats, headbands and more. I love to include items you have as well, if you have anything special for baby.
